Falconry 101 - Hawks in Flight
In this 60-minute lesson, you’ll learn what raptors are all about. How powerful are their eyes? What makes them such good hunters? Why do they come back to the glove? Hands-on instruction in some basic falconry principles, including the opportunity to “catch” a flying bird, is included.
1-4 participants: $200
5-8 participants: $250
Falconry 202 - The Hunting Hawk
In this 90-minute lesson, we’ll go on a ramble through the grounds of The Grouse Woods, giving the hawk time to get into full hunting mode. Along with the basics of Falconry 101, you’ll learn the mechanics of hunting behavior and help beat the brush for possible prey. The transformation of a fluffy, mild-mannered bird into a streak of greased lightning is not to be missed!
1-4 participants: $250
5-8 participants: $300
